Luxury one-bedroom cottage ŵ outdoor bath & views

We booked this cottage for our anniversary with our dog and we were made to feel so welcome before even arriving with emails letting us know how to find the cottage, access it and wishing us a lovely stay. The cottage itself is so beautiful and so well taken care of, we really felt as though everything had been well thought out and loved that we had everything provided that we needed for our stay. The bath was such a treat and really helped us relax and get cosy. Everything just really helped us to slow down and spend some good quality time together. Bed is very comfortable and the cottage was very well heated so we never once felt the cold outside. A particular highlight was waking up the highland cow neighbours right by the garden wall, our Labrador even got excited seeing them come over. Kinghorn beach is lovely for a dog walk and Edinburgh is not too far away. If you are thinking of booking a stay here, don’t hesitate any longer.

Really enjoyed our stay. Very spacious for 2 people and a dog, spotless and well equipped with lots of thoughtful items provided for guests. So cosy and comfortable - the underfloor heating is divine. Very private. Loved the dog-safe garden and would like to come back in summer to make more use of it. Highly recommended.

Second time we have stayed at Banchory farm and this time was as amazing as the last. Great cottage with everything that you would ever need. Evenings by the fire or even a hot bath in the crisp evening looking at the stars. Morning walks and even some highland cows. We will definitely be back again.

We stayed for 3 nights at Drinkbetween West and we could not have had a more pleasant stay. Firstly, the surrounding area was beautiful and we were very lucky with the weather and had just missed the rain. The cottage was exactly the same as the photos, we were left with a loaf of bread, some eggs and a bottle of milk to settle us in. The Highland cows and pheasants were our constant friendly companions at the cottage and the views you get from the garden are without exaggerating, breathtaking. Make sure to catch the morning sunrise! We’d originally had plans to explore Kirkcaldy and go walking, but the cottage was so comfortably and homey that we ended up being recluses the entire stay. A much needed R&R and disconnect from the hustle of everyday life. Correspondence with both Jane and Monika were excellent; we had a small issue at the start of the stay which were immediately rectified and was gifted a bottle of wine, which was lovely gesture. The cottage was clean, amenities aplenty, the bed was comfortable with lots of blankets and pillows and we loved the underfloor heating! We cannot recommend The Banchory enough and cannot wait to plan another trip in the future! Truly a home away from home. Thank you for a peaceful and rejuvenating stay!
